Markie Post
Markie Post grew up in Walnut Creek,
California and started her career on films and TV shows like Card Sharks (1978)
and "The New Card Sharks" (1986) and went on to even make such shows
as Double Dare (1976) and appeared on such TV shows like 1st to Die (2003), E!
True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Her most memorable TV
performance was as "Christine Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). She
was in 156 episodes of this comedy from 1984 until 1992. Marylee (Armstrong)
Post is her daughter. She was a poet, and well-known nuclear physicist Richard
Freeman Post (November 14 1918 to April 7, 2015). There were two daughters she
had with her husband, Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987) and
Daisy Ross (born March 30 and died on March 30, 1990). Born in Palo Alto in
California and raised in Walnut Creek. The school she attended was Las Lomas
High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was an athlete. Received her
Bachelor of Arts degree at Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon. She
was an act in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). Was cremated and her
ashes returned to her husband Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat.
Markie Post, who was three months removed from her 71st birthday date on the
4th of November 2021, passed away on the 7th of August. She was just 27 days
from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) as well as the co-star of which she
passed away on July 11 the 11th of July, 2020. While the two shows were not
related, Night Court (1984) was a finale that saw Christine Sullivan's
character relocating to Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) began with Post as
Georgie Lahti. Post was a new character in Hearts Afire (1992), after which she
relocated to a small community after her time in Washington DC.
