Kaitlyn Ann Vincie
Kaitlyn Vincie was born December 10, 1987 and is an American journalist. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to racing in stock cars when she was given a pitlane pass. She later graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. After SceneDaily published her self-made blogs about NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised firstly in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton when Vincie had begun high school. Vincie is the eldest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was part of Bridgewater College's faculty. Journalism was something she had always been interested in from a young age. Vincie graduated Fauquier High School, in 2006. Vincie was a track and field athlete and was also the school's coach for four years. She won the 800 meters event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had a meeting with the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with a large amount of information. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie was an intern in the athletics department of the university and was also employed with the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pit lane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie wrote her senior thesis on gender-based disparities in auto racing. Her primary influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda as well as Wendy Venturini.
