Riley Keough
American
actress Danielle Riley Keough. Her birthplace was in Santa Monica to Danny
Keough and Lisa Marie Presley. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley,
actress, and singer. Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii, Los Angeles and
was able to spend time with her mother in California. She started modeling at
fifteen. The appearances she made at Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and
Christian Dior's cover shoots are just some of her highlights. Keough made her
debut in feature films when she was 20 years old, appearing as a supporting
character in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), playing Marie Currie.
After The Good Doctor (2011) the film, she was a part of Jack & Diane
(2012). Then she was cast in Magic Mike (2012), the film was a minor role for
Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike (2012). After her appearance in Yellow
and Kiss of the Damned in 2012, Keough was cast in the action film with a big
budget Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as
a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. The film received a lot of praise for her performance
and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance of an Actress
in a Television Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's subsequent
performance as a young, strident woman in American Honey (2017) won her even
more attention. The actress received an Independent Spirit Award nomination.
Keough also starred in the 2017 apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night.
Keough was also seen with Soderbergh for Logan Lucky, his heist film. In the
year 2018, she played in a number of horror and thriller films, including Lars
Von Trier’s The House That Jack Built and the Neo-Noir Under the Silver Lake
and Hold the Dark. In the year 2019, Keough starred as the main character in
the psychological horror film The Lodge, followed by another leading role in
the comedy-drama Zola (2020). Keough plays the character Sandy Harrison,
Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
