Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress. She began modeling at 13 and her first acting gig was at 15. Then she went on to star in many TV and film shows. Cornish is well-known for her portrayals of Bess Throckmorton and the courtier in the historical film "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" and as the heroin addict known as Candy in "Candy." Lindy in the sci-fi thriller "Limitless" and Fanny Brawne, in the biopic "Bright Star". On television, she is known for appearing in 'Outriders' and 'Marking Time'. Cornish is a rapper and singer has been performing under the stage name MC Dusk since 2000. Born in New South Wales and raised alongside three brothers and one sister, she had an average childhood until her parents split at the age of 16. Abbie is a strong woman , who managed to move on from the difficult divorce of her parents. Abbie is an Australian beauty is a talented guitarist and pianist, but she loves acting more than anything else. Cornish is a strict vegan has a strong belief in the rights of animals. She contributes occasionally to organizations that promote animal rights. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the second of five children born to Barry Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actor. The actress was once in a relationship with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she dated between 2006 and 2010.
