Sofia Black D'elia Bio

Sofia BlackD'Elia was an American actress. She is best known for her roles in Skins as Tea Marvelli, Sage Spence and Andrea Cornish from Gossip Boy. Black-D’Elia starred in the role of Sabrina on FOX's comedy The Mick. Black-D'Elia grew up in Clifton, New Jersey. She graduated from Clifton High School. Eleanor, her mom, is a printmaker. Anthony V. D'Elia was her father. He is a Judge of New Jersey's Superior Court. Her father is Italian while her mother, who is Jewish, is from Italy. She started acting at age five and signed up to Broadway Bound dancing classes. Black-D’Elia starred as Bailey, a recurring character on the soap show All My Children at the age of seventeen. In 2010, she was cast as Tea on MTV's version of the British hit teen drama . There, she played a lesbian teenager. Black-D'Elia started in the fall 2012 as Sage Spence, in the sixth and final season Gossip Boy. She is most famous for her roles on All My Children, as well as Sage Spence on Gossip Girl. Later, she would star in FOX’s The Mick as well as a role on HBO’s hit TV show "Night Of".
