Shawn Johnson is a former American gymnast who won a gold medal for the balance beam in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Shawn Johnson is reported to have a relationship with Andrew East (a Vanderbilt University football player). In 2009 she won the contestant on 'Dancing with the Stars.' Shawn Johnson is a former American gymnast who won an Olympic gold medal on the balance beam at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. She was the 2009 winner of 'Dancing with the stars'. Additionally, speaking about her educational background, she went to Valley High School in West Des Moines. However, after quitting the public school in year 2009, she went to Los Angeles, California along with her mother. She also earned her undergraduate education in nutrition and sports psychology at Vanderbilt University, Nashville. In the year 2016 Johnson was married to professional footballer Andrew East. In October 2017 they released an emotional YouTube video where the former gymnast was killed. In Des Moines, the Iowa Hall of Pride has created a bronze statue in honor of this distinguished gymnast.
