Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Stone was the daughter of a factory worker and was awarded a scholarship to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania when she was just 15. ... In the late 1970s, Stone was a highly sought-after model, appearing in TV and print ads across the country. Sharon Stone was an excellent developer. She could walk and talk by the time she turned one. In school, she "drove every person around because I had adult questions. and wanted answers from adults." Sharon Stone, an Oscar-nominated actress, is most well-known for her roles in several films, including "Total Recall", "Basic Instinct," and "Sliver." The film was a blockbuster smash, and garnered Stone Golden Globe and Saturn award nominations for her performance. Following the premiere of the film she was also featured in People magazine’s "50 Most Beautiful People". In 1998, she was married once more and this time with San Francisco Chronicle Executive Editor Phil Bronstein. The couple adopted their son, Roan Joseph, before their divorce in 2004. Stone has adopted two additional sons since the time of their divorce: Quinn Kelly (2006) and Laird Vonne (2006 ).).
