Early life and career

Sofia Vergara, a Colombian girl, was born into an extensive Colombian family in Barranquilla on the 10th of July 1972. Vergara was able to learn English after completing her dental studies and in bilingual elementary schools. Vergara was discovered on a beach that was photographed by photographers. Her first appearance was on screen with an Pepsi commercial. Vergara became an actress for Mexican Telenovelas, and later became a celebrity.

Hot Pursuit, a 2015 comedy that was created by Vergara and Reese Witherspoon, was Vergara's collaboration with Witherspoon. Vergara was also featured as Vergara in The Female Brain. Vergara was also a voice actor in The Emoji Movie, which was released in the year 2017. Then she switched gears to appear in the thriller of 2018 Bent and the baseball drama of 2017 Bottom of the 9th.

Vergara was the first person to witness the benefits of her financial success prior to when she was the highest-paid TV actress. She was co-founder of Latin World Entertainment in 1994.

The actress started her own Kmart clothing line in the year 2011. Three years after, she launched a jewelry and perfume collection. Walmart was the partner she used to launch the denim line in the year 2019.

Personal Life

 

In the year 2000, Vergara was diagnosed with thyroid cancer by an endocrinologist. She's had treatment with radiation and surgery since the time. Vergara is now taking daily medication to control her metabolism. Vergara established an organization in Colombia to assist families who are affected by cancer.

Vergara was her childhood sweetheart was married to Joe Gonzalez in 1993 and had one son Manolo (in 1992). Vergara and Joe Gonzalez separated in 1993. Vergara got married to Nick Loeb in July 2012 who was an American co-owner of a production company for film. Vergara and Loeb separated in May of 2014.

Vergara and Loeb were involved in a legal battle in the year the year 2015. Loeb filed a lawsuit against Vergara for control over frozen embryos she and Loeb made during their wedding. Vergara said that he would destroy the embryos. Vergara denied the claim. Vergara said she was content to keep embryos frozen for a long time by releasing a statement to People magazine.

Vergara began relationship with Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike hunks) shortly after the breakup. Vergara was engaged to Manganiello in December 2014. Vergara also announced she received American citizenship at an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance.
